Through your collaboration, you will inform friends of OM and other interested parties about the work of our global missionaries. You will research the latest news from the many projects and passionately pass along valuable content through written articles. You will ensure quality by editing written communication and by keeping our website up to date.
Required Skills
- Collaborating with the editorial team of our magazine “Global”
- Conducting interviews and writing texts for “Global,” website, social media channels and printed matter
- Editing texts and adapting them for target groups
- Researching global OM projects while, at times, visiting them
- Content-Management of our website
- Presenting OM at events and churches
- Translating various articles from English into German
Skills:
- A personal relationship with Jesus and an identification with the values and vision of OM Germany
- Willingness to build a circle of friends for prayer and to partially finance employment costs
- German language skills are key (at least C1)
- Confidence in German grammar and spelling
- Good knowledge of English
- Ideally experience with Drupal or other CMS
- Willingness to learn and try out new things
- High degree of personal responsibility, independent working and initiative
