Journey Overview

Every summer OM in Norway arranges the Love Slettheia Camp. Slettheia is a diverse community in Kristiansand with a high immigrant population, located just a few kilometers from the OM office.

A few years ago, a vision was birthed to reach out to their predominately Muslim neighbors by providing a summer day camp experience. Since that time, a small group of families has begun meeting in the Field Leader's home to study the Word of God together.

Usually over 100 kids gathers in small groups for games, participating in activities, ranging from baking to music to sport to woodworking to dance, hearing the gospel acted out in Bible stories, eating lunch together, and being prayed over each day. At the end of the week, the kids perform for their parents all the songs, dances and dramas they have been practicing and present their art work in a gallery spread around the Slettheia School gym.
