Journey Overview
- each day is a balance of morning cross-cultural teaching, afternoon religious site visits, and evening evangelistic outreach
- our venue is Hilltop Bible Chapel 1. to share the Gospel with the people living near Hilltop Bible Chapel (Greater Toronto area)
2. to train believers to do #1 and to continue after the outreach
Each participant is responsible for covering their travel costs, insurance and any applicable visa fees as they are not included in the stated Hilltop Challenge costs.
Any personal travel should be organized outside of the Hilltop Challenge outreach dates. Price excludes flights, insurance & any possible vaccinations and is subject to change according to the exchange rate.

What To Expect
- we use a variety of evangelism tools
- religious site visits could include a Muslim mosque, Hindu temple, or Sikh gurdwara
- we choose international neighbourhoods for our evangelistic visits and Hilltop is a largely South Asian congregation
- each host church chooses which world religions and outreach methods are best suited to their area
Participant Profile
Age Range: 18-80
- we are looking for participants who are growing, teachable believers who have servant hearts and a burden to reach lost people with the Gospel
Frequently Asked Questions
Will there be accommodation provided?
- out-of-town participants will be billeted in Christian homes or stay at the host church
Will there be food provided?
- breakfast is usually at the billet's home
- lunch and supper are at the host church
- usually the meals are prepared by host church volunteers but sometimes are catered
Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?
- each participant is responsible for their own travel to and from Toronto Pearson International Airport (Airport code YYZ)
- if they arrive by air, we will either pick them up at the airport or advise them how to take public transport to the host church
- participants should arrive on Aug 6th and leave on Aug 10th
- transport is provided during the week for ministry activities
What should my health condition be like?
- participants are expected to be in general good health
- there will be a fair bit of walking needed, so applicants should be able to do that each day
- any special food or allergy needs should be mentioned on the application form
Do I need a visa?
