Journey Overview

Church groups are invited to partner with one of our local churches to foster a new church plant in a least reach village of Bulgaria. These are villages that has had little access to the gospel and discipleship and considered to be the most unreached area of the south-eastern part of Bulgaria. Church group will travel 10 days to least reached villages and start to partner with new Roma/Turkish church planting from Bulgaria, with the goal of building a long-term relationship with one of the church and see developing a vibrant community among the least reached grow.

Please note this option is for church groups.

Price excludes £50 deposit, flights, insurance & any possible vaccinations and is subject to change according to the exchange rate.

As part of our Safeguarding policy, you may require a valid enhanced DBS certificate, which may cost an additional £20.

What To Expect

Your group will come and join an outreach with local churches for children, youth work, visiting poor families with food parcels and sharing the Good News. The team can help lead Bible studies and church services. We encourage each person to use their gifts and abilities in unique ways to build relationships and see vibrant communities of Jesus followers forming in south eastern part of Bulgaria. The goal would be to continue this relationship and partnership for long-term through praying, giving and sending people.

Age Range: 18-60

If your team or church has a passion and heart for the least reached in Bulgaria to be reached with the love of Jesus, then we welcome your church group or ministry team to foster a church by coming for an outreach and partnering with one of our churches in a least reached village of Bulgaria. Basic Language skills in English, Romanian or Bulgarian.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be accommodation provided?

You will stay in Rusokastro church accommodation during your stay in Bulgaria. During outreach you will sleep in the church building. Please note that it may not be possible for groups, families or married couples to remain together within the different accommodations.

Will there be food provided?

Good Bulgarian food is provided. Sometimes you as a team will need to prepare your own meal. Please come ready to serve together alongside the team and tell us if you have dietary restrictions.

Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?

Participants must arrange their own travel to and from Bucharest (Romania), or Sofia (Bulgaria). Participants will be picked up by OM team members at the airport, train- or bus station.

What should my health condition be like?

Participants must be in good health for the various physical activities during the outreach.

Do I need a visa?

You can only enter Bulgaria and Romania with a Passport (or ID card if you are part of EU). Citizens from the EU, USA, Canada, Switzerland do not need a Visa. All others will need a Visa. If a Visa is needed and costs are involved, this is the participant's responsibility to pay the fees.
