Partnership Overview

As the Field Personnel Officer, you will oversee and guide the entire candidate placement process, ensuring clear, detailed, and accurate communication between the Target Field, candidates, and churches. Your leadership will be essential in facilitating the acceptance or rejection process of candidates by the Target Field, ensuring all necessary information is provided and processes run smoothly.

Required Skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the personnel placement team, ensuring efficient communication and coordination.
  • Oversee the collection and distribution of key information regarding missionary opportunities, including dates, costs, commitment length, medical insurance, available ministries, and pre-requirements.
  • Ensure proper record management using Microsoft D365, Caleb.
  • Provide guidance on the selection process, ensuring compliance with OM policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a key liaison between OM, potential candidates, churches, and the Target Field.
  • Stay informed and ensure the team is knowledgeable about visas, medical insurance, invitation letters (for Consulates or Embassies), financial support structures, and required forms.
  • Uphold high standards of confidentiality, discretion, and emotional intelligence when dealing with people and sensitive information

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong administrative, communication, and computer skills.
  • Good judgment and discretion in managing sensitive information.
  • Ability to work cross-culturally and engage with different denominations.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Emotional intelligence and adaptability in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of OM's mission, values, and personnel selection processes.
  • Expertise in visa processes, medical insurance, invitation letters, and financial support structures.
  • Experience in personnel coordination, HR, or a related field is preferred.
