Part-time Finance Executive

Roles & Responsibilities This role involves handling the processes for all receipts, prepare and submit gift stewardship report promptly. A key aspect of this role is the periodic rotation of responsibilities with a colleague who handles the other areas of accounts including payments, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations and month end closing.

Responsibilities

• Handle the processes for all receipts and input the data in the accounting system. Generate and send out receipts.
• Prepare and submit Gift Stewardship Report
• Do Bank Reconciliation.
• Organize and maintain financial records, both digital and physical.
• Responding to donors' emails.
• Periodic Rotation of managing payments, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations month-end closing, etc.
• Work hours: 1.30pm-5.30pm (Monday to Friday)

Required Skills & Core Competency

• A spiritually matured Christian
• Proficiency in data entry and using accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively and collaboratively in a team.
• Several years of work experience in keeping full set of accounts.
• Accounting certification
• This is a Singapore-based position, open only to Singapore Citizens and PRs
